Amy Christine Dumas, born April 14, 1975, best known by the stage name, Lita, a retired professional wrestler, active from 1998 to 2006, is currently a musician and radio DJ. After retiring from the ring in 2006, she has continued doing wrestling appearances but has also ventured back into the music industry, starting the band, the Luchagors, doing vocals for other musicians and became a radio DJ for two Atlanta, GA radio shows. She has also since ventured into the business world and has done some theater and other acting jobs. Amy is active in staying fit and often teaches Kettlebell workout classes at a local gym (Gym Condition) in Atlanta, GA, where she resides. She is also an Atlanta Braves fan & attends games. She has her own home video, has written an autobiography which was featured on the New York Times bestsellers list and once had her own foundation, ADORE, for animals. The sky is the limit for Amy, given her many accomplishments.

Amy was actually live in the studio tonight in Atlanta for Discordia. She was briefly on camera before they went off. I was having problems getting the show to work in general just to hear it let alone see it so there’s only bits and pieces from when I did actually get it to work tonight. I probably won’t be covering Discordia to the fullest extent anymore.
Amy said they did a photoshoot for Discordia. No word on when it would be released but I assume it’s for promotional Discordia use on SFMTV.com and social media. She and Alfie sang on air quite a bit and she finally explained why no cameras. She wanted it to be like an old school radio show and would only show certain stuff at certain times. She talked briefly about her New York appearance from yesterday and then I happened to hear her say she was going to set criteria for people asking questions who chatted on SFMTV.com’s chat but it’s not like it’s Twitter, people who chat in there are some of her biggest fans. So not sure what that’s about but I was only in the chat briefly because I kept trying to get the feed to work so not sure what people were asking and I’m sure the same questions are asked but anyway… the updates will be an “old school” version with just information on how and where you can watch and you can just watch the archived videos when available.

I don’t often make social media weekly posts seeing as Amy usually doesn’t tweet photos often or Instagram them so it’s special when she does and her tweets are usually odd AND you can follow her on Twitter but she tweets here and there and I have a mid month catch up for you. I haven’t really made a social media update in general in a while but I will try to do at least two weeks of social media updates for you each month to post because real updates are slow.
5/01: When a fan asked: “@AmyDumas just saw you were advertised as being at Collectormania in MK at the end of May, will you definitely be attending?” she replied “YEP!”
5/05: She tweeted about Discordia which you can find in Discordia’s update from that week. She also tweeted: “Beware of the Mexican Chicken Pox in Puebla. #CincoDeMayo”
5/06: Her pal Alfred from Discordia joined Twitter & she tweeted: “My pal Alfred is on twitter now. Catch him here @Alfie_19 and with me on #Discordia — While we’re all anxiously awaiting @Alfie_19 ‘s 1st tweet don’t miss his priceless avatar of him throwing up gang signs with Snoop Lion”
5/07: When a fan asked: “Do you have any plans to visit England this year? I’d love to come and meet you.” She replied: “Be there at the end of the month” — Later she tweeted: “Guess!! How much does a vintage chicken carousel seat in decent condition go for these days…” including a photo of a chicken carousel. Her friend tweeted to her: “@AmyDumas $8000? I cheated. #heel” to which Amy replied: “Correct. Inside submission. #Disqualified”
Also that day a fan tweeted: “@AmyDumas Your header is the most adorable, yet weirdest thing I’ve ever seen. I love it.” to which she said: “Like me! Weirdly adorable. #Odd” — When a fan tweeted: “Besides Incubus obviously, are there any other bands you despise?” to which she replied: “Rush, Genesis or anything Phil Collins” and another fan tweeted: “who hates RUSH!?” and she said: “ME!!! #barf”
5/12: She tweeted about Discordia which you can find in the previous Discordia update.
5/13: She tweeted: “So….. This exists….” including a photo of a french fry holder. Later she replied to a friend: “I’m excited! Trust me” when @bakeanddestroy tweeted: “Oh @AmyDumas, our things neither of us should be trusted with arrived today!” including a photo of a knife and comb. Then later she replied to a friend: “I LOVE that movie!” when @thejillthompson tweeted: “Cabin in the Woods. Is there a twist other than the one I think I’ve figured out 15 minutes in?”
5/15: She tweeted: “I took a walk to Hoosier Mama today. @bakeanddestroy can’t wait to dig in!”
Earlier today, Amy tweeted: “ It’s #Discordia time! Where we talk dog strollers, The Bronx, Against Me! and whatever else comes up. Join us! — That awkward moment when you realize a tweet just posted that you sent hours ago…”
Updates from Amy’s Discordia’s Facebook page today: Alfie posted a video they mentioned during the show of The Bronx.
It was announced that the cameras were down and they were still live but the recordings sounded different so I don’t know if Amy was in studio, if it was live or pre-recorded but I thought Alfred said the video would be posted so be sure to stay tuned just in case other information or coverage becomes available but Discordia opened with Amy’s week in review, talking about baseball games that she went to this week, what she got there and the weather there. She said she caught a ball at one of the games but it was thrown to her by a bat boy with the message hello on it from a baseball player who was a wrestling fan instead of getting it via foul ball or crazy leap. She said that she would throw the opposing team’s ball back if she ever caught it because you gotta have your team’s back. Her oddness came into play when talking about a mixture of bed fellows, a band and Playgirl, and said she has always wanted to get a mariachi band with lucha masks on to play at her Godson’s party but didn’t want to embarrass him and joked her mom might get it for mother’s day. She gave a heart felt discussion bit about transgendered people of interest such as her friend, an MMA fighter and a member of a band and how media has responded to them.
She went in a different direction after with humor about following up on getting a dog stroller and saying when she was out, she realized how uncool it was based on the stares and what she thought people were thinking or saying to themselves. She talked about once giving former pet dog Mason pink streaks and also mentioned that Kenz was afraid of the stroller and showed a video clip of her shaking as well as a photo of Kenz in the stroller. She talked about some random things like workout gear, googling phrases and what they mean, fish guts which led to her talking about her time on Fear Factor and the shake that was in round two although she was eliminated the previous round. She didn’t know anything about Fear Factor until she was on it and told stories about what people told her about it. She finished up mentioning that she was going to the UK soon and being there once for a photoshoot and interacting with the guards. She compared people on Twitter to those who taunt the guards. She said she’s been to UK at age 19 briefly, then with WWE and with Luchagors so when she goes there at the end of May, early June, she will look into doing some things besides just work. That concluded Discordia for this week.

Amy was live in Chicago again this week, via Skype this time though instead of the iVideos that was tried out last week. She was giving us hints on her undisclosed location. She told a very funny story about her first trip to Mexico in 1998 when she first began wrestling and how she was a big star with the children down there though when she came back, she found out “those f*ckers” gave her chicken pox! Haha She told that story in honor of Cinco De Mayo that is today 5/5, a Mexican holiday. Amy tweeted afterward: “Beware of the Mexican Chicken Pox in Puebla. #cincodemayo” — She talked about spring and baseball and the food that is sold in the stadiums plus the different stadiums she’s been to in general. She also talked about some of the entertainment at the games, too.
She gave a shout out to her dog McKenzie, the Kenz and that she had missed some of the dog park days. She said Kenz does some cool stuff & to follow her on Twitter. Last week, she mentioned that she would tell us how she got red carpet ready in a public bathroom and told that story saying she originally had a skirt and top rolled up in high heels but went shopping for the premiere for a dress and basically the ending was that the dress was not the right size and she had to suck in the whole movie! She talked briefly about the movie and that concluded the show!

On the show tonight, Amy was live from Chicago, instead of Atlanta, Georgia where the SimcolFM studios are. She was recently in California for an Iron Man 3 premiere and then NY/NJ for UFC 159 both with rumored boyfriend Phil “CM Punk” Brooks. Punk is also from Chicago so that is the connection there as to why she may be in Chicago. Instead of in the studio, Amy was in various clips sent from her iPhone. Punk also made a brief cameo in one of her video clips. She gave tidbits like PSAs on what to refer to certain cities as. She also mentioned that she and Punk were out on scooters today and he nailed a van although everyone is okay! She talked about Sprinkles cupcakes and gave tidbits on what she’d be talking about next week like her recent travels, including the Iron Man 3 premiere that she attended this past week.
